Instal the new CINEBENCH 20244/11/2024 Powering down, cutting power for a couple minutes, rebooting, etc.Re-downloading the latest version of Cinebench 2024.Resetting defaults in AMD Adrenalin again. Set AMD Adrenalin to "Custom" but using stock values for everything.Graphics clock isn't cracking the lower end of 3100 MHz vs 3241 MHz previously. GPU voltage, Total Board Power, and graphics clock still seem to be on the failed tweaked profile somehow? Voltage is maxing at ~1.113 V vs. Superposition ran just fine with a slightly better score and somewhat lower temps (which may just be due to time of day / ambient temps, CPU temps are similarly lower). A short FurMark run seemed fine and metrics where in line with pre-tampering runs. Temps seem normal (hotspot never exceeds 90 and tends to mid/low 80s). There are no other issues that I can see. No driver crash or any other indication that anything's gone awry. The app freezes at random points in the middle of a render and has to be forcefully closed. Now I cannot get Cinebench to complete a single 10-minute GPU bench run without the app crashing. After backing off the undervolt without any real change, I decided to put everything back to stock and re-test for good measure. I wasn't necessarily expecting a big gain on air, but if the card is thermally limited I would have expected it to boost at least as much as it had been before now that it was using less voltage. However, the graphics clock was not boosting as high as it had been and the Cinebench score dropped a few hundred points (15469 to ~15100). Pretty sure the changes took as I did see slightly lower voltages and temps reporting in HWMonitor while running Cinebench 24. I've now realized this may have been a mistake, but bear with me. I tried a simple power limit increase + undervolt using MSI Afterburner. I've also been living and gaming with it for a few months with no incidents - other than the occasional driver crash. I've stressed the crud out of the thing with FurMark and a myriad of benchmarks (Cinebench, 3DMark, Superposition, bunch of games.). Trying my hand at OCing my Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX on air to get a baseline before I block it. Hey all! Been out of the OC game for a few years.
